Zen, an Asian fusion restaurant, has made a big splash in the heart of Astoria. The entry’s deep red portal welcomes guests and sets the tone for moody, dynamic design elements to come.

A central backlit onyx bar illuminates the space with a huge Buddha sculpture center stage. Custom suspended brass shelves above showcase high-end liquors while providing a home for lush hanging greenery.

A round portal transports guests to the private dining area, a space to see and be seen in. A hand painted floor to ceiling mural on brick is lit by oversized chandeliers above. Custom banquettes provide comfortable seating and plants hang from the greenhouse ceiling above creating a whimsical indoor/outdoor juxtaposition.
