West Village Apartment
Located in the West Village, this two bedroom apartment serves as an oasis and our clients bachelor pad. The goal was to create a masculine atmosphere complete with warm metals, carefully curated materials, furniture pieces and artwork.
Upon entering the space, guests are greeted by an airy and light-filled open floor plan. Rich ebony stained wood floors set the foundation of the design and lead guests into the contemporary Kitchen. Featuring crisp white cabinetry with glass inserts and stainless steel appliances, the Kitchen is finished off with polished chrome hardware and fixtures.
Just beyond the Kitchen; the Living Room welcomes you with a bold triptych of three of the clients icons. Faceted navy blue lounge chairs and a matte black coffee table collection (when pulled apart) exposes luxury brass plated interiors. This pairing is surrounded by luxurious materials like the antique mirror Dining Room wall and the walnut built-in.
Other touches of industrial pieces, like the black iron I-beam table and floating black iron frame of the triptych, add a weightiness to the otherwise light canvas. The apartment’s luxury materials are juxtaposed with edgy and unique furnishings throughout, speaking to the personality of our client.
Accent pillows with bold jewel tones of blues, reds and yellows liven the clean lined sofa and are also found in the dining chairs nearby. The Dining area’s custom banquette and antique mirror wall opens the space and reflects moments of the artwork from every angle. The oversized live edge dining table, stained the same ebony as the flooring, is perfect for dinner parties and socializing.
The warmth and coziness of the Master and Guest Bedrooms was created with tufted headboards, wool feature wall covering and luxury bohemian area rugs underfoot. Jewel tone nightstands add a pop of color in the Master Bedroom and a black velvet lounge chair and a brass & matte black floor lamp evoke the feeling of a fine hotel suite.
