One of our most recent projects in Long Island, is this beautiful residence with stunning traditional moldings, clean lines of black architectural glazing and large white spatial volumes. No detail was overlooked in bringing together lavish moldings and luxe finishes to create this exquisite 6,000 square foot transitional home.

The classic detail of coffered ceilings and custom picture moldings are juxtaposed by the modern black window glazing. Brass accents and contemporary furnishings birthed detail and interest with spaces for the eye to relax, allowing the intricate components to be appreciated. The polished details and pops of jewel tones throughout the residence, like the custom Emerald Green tiled Powder Room Feature Wall, give a nod to the neighboring metropolis and are balanced in the open and airy volumes and clean industrial architectural elements.

The all white, custom Kitchen is complimented by Calacatta Gold slab counter tops, island with waterfall edge and backsplash behind the black La Cornue range. The black and brass accents in the range and the coffee station tower along with brass plumbing fixtures and cabinet hardware add a chic layer to the stunning traditional kitchen.

The beautiful flooring in this home ties everything together. Herringbone wide plank wood floors bring warmth to the Dining Room and Family Room, while straight planks lead guests to the custom designed staircase. Atop the second-floor landing guests get an awesome vista of the two-story book matched marble Living Room fireplace. The Master Bedroom showcases a hand-painted ombré feature wall with brass accents. The Guest Bath features an Alex Turco custom geode Shower wall. It’s these rich, unexpected accents that enliven the clean, comfortable, family-friendly design.
