Mid Century Modern \/ Scandinavian \/ Retro Modern<\/h3>\n

\n This is the style that is referred to when people say the word Modern and is from the 20s-50\u2019s. It is often confused with Contemporary or thinking that it means style that is current. It has a very specific look born out of the rejection for ornate styles\u2026It is minimalist and very clean with straight lines. There are often pops of bold primary colors but all d\u00e9cor is derived from functionally in it\u2019s purest form.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

Industrial Modern<\/h3>\n

\n Rough and Raw, this style comes from Artists squatting in old warehouses and factories and so it is a very urban look. It has large open spaces with exposed and distressed elements.\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Rustic<\/h3>\n

\n Rustic by definition is anything relating to the countryside, in particular things that are constructed or made in a plain and simple fashion. Rustic Design focuses on rugged natural beauty and embraces nature inspired textures, simple earthy colors, and organic warmth while being unpretentious.\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

Cottage & Coastal<\/h3>\n

\nThese 3 can technically be used all together accurately or separated into different styles. Coastal simply refers to beach house style. Cottage style can be located anywhere but tries to capture the feeling of a vacation home or beach bungalow. Shabby chic gets more specific but is often used in coastal and cottage design. It recreates a vintage French feel with elements that are distressed from time. Dominated by whites and pastes, it uses delicate decorative motifs such as garlands, cherubs, and floral patterns, heavily painted furniture from the years are worn to show layers, and French inspired linens. All these styles are informal and picturesque.\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Bohemian Eclectic<\/h3>\n

\n Artistic, exotic, and effortless all at the same time. Unique every time but this aesthetic uses lots of deep saturated color, multiple fabrics, and combines patterns.\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

Contemporary<\/h3>\n

\nOften what most people mean when they say modern. Contemporary style is rooted in what is current making it very dynamic. Designed with open spaces if feels airy and expansive. Always clean, it focuses on the basics of line, shape, and form.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
